The Cusco tourist ticket (or Boleto Turistico) is an official paper document issued by Peru’s Local Government. With it, visitors have access to major attractions in Cusco and the Sacred Valley (mainly archaeological sites-ruins) Different types of tickets are available, but most travelers purchase the Partial Ticket for the Sacred Valley which includes 04 sites (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Moray, and Chinchero Ruins) and it is valid for 02 Consecutive Days.
However, if you are staying longer in Cusco, We suggest buying the Boleto Turistico General (Or a 10-Day Full Tourist Ticket) which allows you to visit 16 attractions in Cusco for 10 days. The Full tourist ticket grants access to archaeological ruins in Chinchero, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, and Moray in the Sacred Valley. While in Cusco, the ticket grants access to Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, and other little ruins nearby Cusco; also Tipon and Pikillaqta.
*** NOTICE: This ticket does NOT include entry to the Maras Salt Mines, Cusco’ Sun Temple nor to Machu Picchu.
*** IMPORTANT! We include these tickets based on the tours you book with us!
How far in advance should I book?
Generally, we say “the sooner, the better”; especially important for travelers visiting during the height of the dry season, June to September. Travelers visiting outside of these busy months can often book a bit more last-minute, although 48 hours is still recommended. We are often able to accommodate last-minute travelers as well, so give us a call or send us a message to our WhatsApp and we will do our best to accommodate it.
In order to book and secure Tours or any other services, you will be required to pay a minimum and fixed deposit per person, so your booking can be confirmed (regardless of the number of passengers in your party). The amount of this deposit varies according to the tour of your choice and/or service required but is always published on the tour page.
Only if deposit is done, we can guarantee your dates, the balance will be paid in cash the day of the tour when meeting up with your Local Friend.
Deposits will be paid using PayPal: In this case, we kindly request to pay an additional 6 % on the deposit to cover the Paypal commission. To make your deposit by Paypal you do not need to have a Paypal account, you can also pay with your Credit Card
